PLANNING HAS BEGUN FOR THE SECOND ANNUAL WILD ROSE HOCKEY CHALLENGE!
Hosted by Wild Rose Member of Parliament Blake Richards (pictured), the Wild Rose Hockey Challenge game will feature cabinet ministers and other prominent politicians playing alongside professional hockey players to raise funds for area victims' assistance organizations. Last year's inaugural charity game raised $10,000 from community participants and we're looking to score even more in 2010 to help local victims of crime, tragedy and disaster. A range of sponsorship packages are now available. We hope you'll check back often for new details on the 2010 event as they become available, including information on how to bid for one of two roster spots to play alongside NHLers in the game!
