Motion 110 – Letter to MP Ruimy
Template Letter:
Dear MP Ruimy,
On November 20, 2018 you moved to shut down debate on a motion that would have had the Human Resources Committee finish its study and table its report and recommendations on Motion 110 prior to the winter break of the House Commons.
Motion 110 clearly set out that the Committee report its findings and recommendations to the House within six months of the adoption of the motion, which would mean by December 8, 2018. A Motion that I remind you was supported unanimously by all parties.
By voting down this motion you have signaled that the Liberal Government plans to take no action on Motion 110 report recommendations before the next election.
By choosing not to take action, you are failing to show grieving parents the compassion we need.

I expect this report be tabled prior to the winter recess.
I am disappointed that your government has broken your commitment to act swiftly on recommendations in the Human Resources Committee on Motion 110, and are instead dragging your feet.
I look forward to your timely response explaining why you have purposely chosen not to take action to improve the level of support and compassion for grieving parents.
Sincerely,
