Canadians are feeling the strain of a broken immigration system.
The Liberal government’s Ottawa-engineered immigration plan has overwhelmed the very services Canadians rely on — from hospitals and schools to housing and infrastructure.
Under Mark Carney’s leadership, things have only gotten worse. His out-of-control Liberal immigration policies have created a triple crisis in housing, health care, and youth employment.
Conservatives believe that Canada’s immigration system should put Canada first — by inviting the right people, in the right numbers, with the right supports in place.
We believe:
Immigration levels must be reduced so health care, housing, and job creation can catch up.
Abuse of the temporary foreign worker and international student programs must end.
Fraudulent refugee claims must be stopped to protect resources for genuine refugees.
